Christina Marie Rodriguez, 65, of Gettysburg, PA, passed away peacefully April 1st, 2024. Born February 13th, 1959 in Manchester, MD. She was the daughter of the late Earl and June (Mummert) Messinger. She volunteered at the East Berlin Community Center. In the last 10 years she suffered from many health problems including a brain tumor, early onset dementia and heart failure. She loved to dance, play bingo, crossword puzzles, harass her nurses with her humor, and man does she love her cheeseburgers! Her children describe her as stubborn, and one of the strongest, and funniest people they knew.

Christina is preceded in death by her husband, Teofilo Rodriguez, and brother, Earl Messinger Jr.

She is survived by her four children; daughter Juanita Rodriguez and husband Aureliano. Her son Poncho Moore and wife Amanda. Her daughter Leticia Sanchez-Angeles. Her son Daniel Sanchez-Downey and wife Nicole. Her grandchildren Aaliyah, Yazmin, Aadyn, Analei, Brody, and Clayton.

Christina is also survived by her three sisters; Judy Laughman and husband Ralph, Bonnie Link and husband Rick Swartzbaugh, and Kathrine Lua-Hernandez. Her two brothers Richard and Raymond Messinger. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
