Carole M. Laughman, 81 of Gettysburg passed away peacefully at Gettysburg Hospital on Sunday, May 4th, 2025.

Born January 2, 1944 in Gettysburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry S. and Ethel M. (Baker) Sillik.

Carole will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her spicy personality.  She loved word searches, computer solitaire, watching "Days of our Lives" and enjoying coconut rum on the rocks.

Her memory and legacy will live on with her sister, Donna Shriner of Fairfield, PA; two daughters: Lori L. Tucker and her husband Charlie of New Milton, WV and Melanie S. DelSignore and her fiancé Dave Miller of Fairmont, WV; two granddaughters: Shania M. West of Gettysburg and Cassie E. Henry and her husband Shaun of Waynesboro; two great-grandchildren; her nephew, Don Shriner, as well as her two beloved kitties, Tiquo and Celeste.

A graveside celebration of Carole's life will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 8th at Flohr's Church Cemetery; 585 Flohr's Church Rd. in McKnightstown where her family will share their cherished memories with those in attendance.  Guests are encouraged to arrive at the cemetery by 10:45am

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Peters Funeral Home, Inc. in Gettysburg.
