Bonita B. "Bonnie" Baltzley, 77 of Gettysburg passed away peacefully at Gettysburg Hospital on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026.

Born October 15, 1948 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Edith M. (Fissel) Baker.

Bonnie will be fondly remembered for her gentle spirit, kindness, and deep love of history. She was a devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star, an avid reader, and a lifelong student of the past. She attended Lebanon Valley College, where she pursued her passion for music as a music major. Throughout her working years, Bonnie was employed at Ruby Tuesday, Sheetz, and Friendly's, where she enjoyed serving and connecting with her community.

She is survived by many loving cousins across the United States who will cherish her memory and remember her warmth and enthusiasm for history.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia "Patsy" Baker, and her brother, Robert "Bobby" Baker.

A graveside service to celebrate Bonnie's life will be held at 12 noon on Friday, May 8th, 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery in Arendtsville.  For GPS purposes, use 116 Chambersburg St. in Arendtsville.
