Arlene B. (Snow) Waldfogel, 90, of Gettysburg formerly of Fayette, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at home. She was the loving wife of the late Dale Orval Waldfogel.

Born September 2, 1924 in Fayette, OH, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Ida (Brehm) Snow.

Arlene was a 1942 graduate of Fayette High school and then married her husband in 1943. While in Fayette she was a member of Christian Union Church and then after living in Fayette for many years she moved to Hudson, MI where she attended First Baptist Church and also worked for Klee's Pharmacy. In 2007 she moved to Gettysburg where she attended Memorial Baptist Church.

Arlene is survived by a son, Les Waldfogel and his wife Barbara of Roseville, CA; two daughters, Janice Dawson of Fair Oaks, CA and Nancy McFeaters and her husband Ken of Gettysburg; one grandson, four granddaughters, five great granddaughters, four great grandsons, several nieces and nephews, and many other loving extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by a great grandson.

A service to celebrate the life of Arlene will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Peters Funeral Home 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Steve Baker officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Pleasant View Cemetery, Fayette, OH, and then the family will have a public graveside memorial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Arlene's memory to the American Cancer Society, 424 E. Middle St. Rear, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, 260 W. High St., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
