Arlene C. Odbert, 86 of Westminster, MD and formerly of Gettysburg, PA passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Dove House. She was the loving wife of Ivan H. Odbert who died on June 1, 2001.

She was born June 10, 1924 in Hanover, PA the daughter of the late Bernard and Lula G. (Krumrine) Nunemaker.

Mrs. Odbert graduated from Gettysburg High School and was a secretary and homemaker. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl A. Jones, Clarksville, MD; Timothy Odbert and his wife Patti, Westminster, MD; Frederick Odbert and his wife Carol, Brookeville, MD, two grandsons; two granddaughters and a great granddaughter.

A service to celebrate her life will be on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11 AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. Serving as pallbearers will be, Timothy Odbert; Frederick Odbert; Jonathan Odbert; Emily Odbert and David Erickson.
