Obituary

Annetta Louise Paul, 101 of Gettysburg and formerly of Everett and Camp Hill passed peacefully on Sunday September 14, 2008 at the Gettysburg Lutheran Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Charles G. Paul.

Mrs. Paul was born August 23, 1907 in Syracuse, NY the daughter of the late Orrin and Mabel (Louer) Rodgers.

She was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church, Everett where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Paul retired from Bowman's Department Store, Harrisburg in 1968 where she was a member of the Ten O'clock club. She later worked for the Everett Free Library as a book keeper and cataloger, retiring in 1983. Also, she was a member of the Friends of the Everett Free Library and while living in Bedford County, she was a member of the RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program).

She is survived by a grandson, Frank Mellott, Mechanicsburg, a granddaughter, Linda Mellott Harrold and her husband Tom, Vienna, VA and a great grandson, Thomas Henry Harrold, Vienna, VA.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Paul Mellott and her brother Orrin Rodgers, Jr.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Paul will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 11 AM at the Everett United Methodist Church, 221 East Main Street, Everett with Rev. Richard Williams officiating. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at the church. Interment in Fort Hill Cemetery, Auburn, NY will be at the convenience of the family.
