Alice M. Kiessling, 92, formerly of York, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Brethren Home, New Oxford. She was the loving wife of Courtland Kiessling who died December 12, 2001.

She was born September 22, 1923 in Arendtsville, PA, the daughter of the late James and Grace (Flickinger) Bolen.

Mrs. Kiessling worked at Coyne Laundry, York and Musselman's, Biglerville. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and mall walking.

She is survived my several nieces and nephew. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Gary Kiessling and three bothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11 AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg with Pastor Bryan Laue officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Tuesday from 10 AM until the start of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Arendstville. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Kiessling, Ken Kiessling, Ben Kiessling, Jon Kiessling, Larry Schmick and Joel Peterman.
